How Facebook, Twitter, Skype and mobile phones can be used in teaching and learning?

In my opinion I thing Facebook can be used as educational purpose, because Facebook is social networking website, so basically its much easier to connect teacher and student were you can make your own group and discus about any issues about the modules or communicate your lectures if they online at that particular time.

Using a Twitter in educational purpose I don’t thing its good idea, because in my opinion the whole purpose of Twitter as it appears to me like a chat room kind of network. nevertheless there are a many of celebrities using Twitter, so its simple to flow them your favorite celebrities but personally I don’t thing using Twitter as it didn't interest me because there are many people using @ the same time so it was getting jam the webpage and it took wile to upload the page so that makes irritating and wasting time.

Skype is software that allows the world’s conversations and the good thing for Skype is free and you can download the software anytime and start fun with life phone calls.

In my opinion have a Skype account to communicate my family around the world and I found easy to use this software, on the other hand I think this would be a excellent thought for educational purposes as we would be able to be in touch with other from in the region of the world who are doing the similar course as us so we can discuss any topics and debate life.

Second life is basically is an online 3D virtual world imagined and designed by you. From the moment you enter Second Life, you’ll discover a universe brimming with people and possibilities. Having a second life inside this software you can make your personal avatar and basically build it any character you like.

In my opinion it’s nice to build your own character in second life you can also connect with old friends or meet new ones. Second Life you keep in touch in real time, even through voice chat. You can talk to your friends one-on-one or all at once.
as well that, second life for teaching reason possibly a excellent idea as it'll be simpler to talk and network with each other, we can straight speak to the professor/teacher about any subjects concerning the module, also In Second Life what I liked about is you can buy virtual land and build your dream house, open your own business, create an enjoyment park or bring together a space station.

The name of the Ray Adam CD called “Cognitive Science meet Computing Science” to give what I through about the CD I had readed the content of the CD in my opinion as I was reading the content it was really tough to understand the objects because the CD is aimed students in Second or third who are into Computer Science. As foundation year student in university in my opinion it was really hard the CD was very technical.
Also the article content was very long and I had problem concentrating. however even the language used its was to hard to understand and that other reason what make this article confusing plus the test used in my opinion I would advice any foundation student to read this article.

Hi there, to all the Information Technology with foundation year, my name is Ahmed Ibrahim and I am planning Comic Relief on Friday 19th March 2010 to raise money for young people who has disabilities, the whilst many young people lead fulfilling and exciting lives, others face enormous challenges and experience problems that they find difficult to solve on their own.

I am trying to take day out these young people to a trip of their choice so without your support and encouragement I don’t thing that I can manage my own.

Where your money goes
All the money we raise or donate will help to transform these young people who desperately need your support.
To raise this money I am planning to organise 5 sites Football. For all the university who want take part and help these young people.

Whose is taking part?
Students and all the other staff all you need is to come up your team including goal keeper and 5 other players so that makes 6 player each team. So the 6 one will be sub.
